CURRENT REPORT
The Clarkfork is starting to fish well and should have good fishing this week. Skwala’s, BWO’s, March Browns and Gray Drakes are all a great option right now in the afternoons. If the afternoon is cloudy and not super windy the mayfly fishing should really turn on. Look for fishing rising in the foam lines and back eddies. Gray Drake like Carnage Drakes, Hair Wings, Extended Bodies. BWO’s like Split Flags, Film Critics, CDC Duns. March Browns like Brindlechutes, Cripples and Carnage Drakes. These are all must haves in your box right now. A Skwala/dropper if you aren’t seeing any fish rise. Droppers being Duracells, Frenchies, 20 Inchers, Front St. Stones and Rubberlegs.
Looking Forward
River should stay in great shape through the week. Mayflies are the ticket!
