El Saltamontes Lodge

El Saltamontes Lodge is the oldest fly fishing lodge in Chile, and is located two hours north of the town of Coyhaique, Chile on a remote, private ranch. "Saltamontes" translates to "grasshopper" in English– and the quality of hopper fishing found at the lodge lives up to the name. Hopper fishing is what this lodge is known for. What's unique about the fishing at El Saltamontes is the access to private, storied waters and the diverse fishing menu available to anglers. One day can be spent wade fishing small spring creeks, sight fishing for big trout with little dries. The next can be spent floating a freestone or cruising around one of many productive lakes, searching for big trout with large terrestrials and streamers. Some of the best fishing at El Saltamontes Lodge is actually found right out front, where the famous Nirehuao River flows untouched by other anglers.

The Best of Patagonia program is a full week itinerary that combines stays at Cinco Rios Lodge and Estancia del Zorro allowing anglers opportunity to fly fish an incredible array of waters spanning a diverse cross-section of amazing landscapes endemic to Chilean Patagonia. The sister lodges have a longtime and loyal staff of professional and knowledgeable fishing guides that know the areas larger rivers, smaller creeks and rivers, and lakes. Mexico-Espiritu Santo Bay Lodge

Espiritu Santo Bay Lodge (ESB), is a wilderness flats fishing destination specifically designed for serious saltwater fly fishers. ESB sits on a beautiful Caribbean beach in the southernmost part of Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula, just south of the sleepy lobster fishing village of Punta Herrero and within the massive 1.3 million acre Sian Ka’an Biosphere Reserve.

ESB Lodge allows anglers quick and easy access to the last frontier of Caribbean flats fishing – Espiritu Santo Bay. This fishery can provide fantastic action for all four of the Caribbean’s famous flats species – permit, tarpon, bonefish, and snook. This is “Super Grand Slam” country!

Mexico – Palometa Club

The Palometa Club is an exclusive fly fishing lodge on the northeastern edge of the famed permit and bonefish flats of Ascension Bay in Yucatan, Mexico. Founded in December 2005, the Club is one of the most respected fly fishing lodges in the Caribbean for serious flats anglers.

The Palometa Club is the definition of an old school lodge operation with tremendous hospitality, comfortable accommodations, incredible food, and an all-star staff. We also hang our hats on a unique fishing program founded on the most experienced and professional team of English speaking guides in the region.
