CURRENT REPORT
The Blackfoot is fishing good and should through the whole week. Some fish are looking up at Skwala’s, BWO’s and March Browns in the afternoons. No need to get out super early as most of the good fishing is happening in the afternoons. Skwala/Droppers have been a good call, until you see mayflies starting to hatch. Once you start to see BWO’s or March Brown’s switch over and look for fish rising. Cripples, Extended Bodies, Comparaduns and P-Hazes are all good options. We’ve seen some bigger fish coming up for Skwala’s too, so don’t be afraid to stick to the dry/dropper if you don’t see any mayflies hatching. Streamer fishing is a good option if you’re looking to swing for the fences. White/Gold, Olive or Black are great colors in your favorite streamer patterns.
