CURRENT REPORT
Rock Creek is a great option this week. Stable flows and good dry fly action in the afternoons is what to expect. March Browns and BWO’s are the main hatches right now with a few Skwala’s in the mix as well. Flash Cripples, Extended Bodies, P-Hazes and Brindlechutes need to be in your box. Nymphing is good in the morning or if there are no hatches happening. General mayfly nymphs like Jig PT’s, Spanish Bullets, Duracells, Frenchies with a Rubberlegs, TJ Hooker or San Juan under a bobber will keep your lines tight. If you like streamer fishing slow rolling a JJ Special, Sparkle Minnow or Lil’ Kim is good option.
Looking Forward
Rock Creek is fishing well! Look for mayflies to stay in the mix for the week.
