The apex of large-arbor, high-capacity performance reels for your extreme fresh and saltwater pursuits – meet the SDX series. Featuring our largest arbor and fastest line pickup Abel ever engineered (15.5"–17.5" per rotation), the SDX is built for anglers who demand maximum control, generous backing capacity, and bulletproof reliability. 

Available in two sizes—9/11 and 12/14—with 5" and 5.5" diameters for faster line pickup. These reels are purpose built for chasing permit, tarpon, and giant trevally on tropical flats, or in the hands of Spey anglers swinging flies for steelhead and salmon. The SDX 12/14 is tuned for tackling big bad bluewater predators like tuna, makos, marlin, and sailfish.  

Whether you're stalking the mangroves of the Yucatán or running offshore in the Seychelles, the SDX reel is made for the moment when everything runs.

For international shipping, we use USPS with options including First Class (15-20 days, no tracking), Priority Mail (6-20 days, tracking & insurance), and Express Mail (3-10 days, tracking & insurance). Customers refusing shipments to avoid customs fees are responsible for return shipping costs or a 10% restocking fee.
