The fastest way to change flies from soggy to fresh!

Amadou is primarily composed of a mushroom: "Fomes fomentarius", and its primary purpose is taking soggy, water-logged, good-for-nothing dry flies and getting them ready to fish again. A simple squeeze between the two pads of this magical material sucks out water from a drowned fly, restoring its ability to float. Though it stands alone as a means of keeping flies floating, it is best viewed as a piece of the dry fly puzzle that includes some kind of dip or gel, and/or a powder floatant.

Some oversized items, like mid-length nets, long-handled nets, and coolers, require a $25 flat rate shipping fee. All orders are processed within 1-3 business days. For international shipping, we use USPS with options including First Class (15-20 days, no tracking), Priority Mail (6-20 days, tracking & insurance), and Express Mail (3-10 days, tracking & insurance). Customers refusing shipments to avoid customs fees are responsible for return shipping costs or a 10% restocking fee.
