Nautilus X Series XL Fly Reel

The XL is built for larger freshwater species and light saltwater use. Matched to a 6- or 7 weight rod, it handles bigger trout, bass, and pike in freshwater, and it performs on light saltwater flats chasing redfish and smaller bonefish. The point where the X Series starts reaching beyond the river.

  • Dual Palming Rim. Primary and secondary palming rims give you more control during the fight and protect the rear spool rim from everyday wear.
  • Giga Arbor Spool. Over a foot of line pickup per handle turn. Grooved design lets backing breathe and dry faster to prevent rot and corrosion.
